The Spring Break 2024 trip to the United Arab Emirates was truly an unforgettable experience. This was a once in a lifetime experience for 22 members of the St. Timothy's School to explore Sharjah, Dubai, and Abi Dhabi. We worked with our traveling partner, WorldStrides, which is owned by a St. Timothy's School graduate, to organize an annual cultural and educational program during Spring Break. The UAE has a rich history and is home to many ancient ruins and archaeological sites. It is also home to some of the tallest buildings in the world, including the Burj Khalifa, which is currently the tallest building on earth. From the towering skyscrapers to the desert safari excursion, to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, every aspect of this trip was nothing short of spectacular.

Although they share the same first name, our Director of Grounds/Horticulturist, Mr. Phil Dickmeyer, might not be as well-known as the other Phil in Punxsutawney when predicting the arrival of spring. However, he spotted these beautiful Hellebores blooming on our campus, and it has to be a sure sign that spring is just around the corner!
St. Timothy's School Rider, Graham A. ’25, was recently awarded the Baltimore County Horse Show Association (BCHSA) Catie Carnes Equine Enthusiast Scholarship at the BCHSA Banquet of Champions on January 14, 2024. Congratulations, Graham!
One of the benefits of St. Timothy's location is the driving distance of so many cultural centers. Students who signed up to participate in the annual New York City Holiday Trip spent the day taking in the sights and sounds of the Big Apple. The action-packed itinerary included visiting the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, plus the choice two cultural experiences: touring the world-famous MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), and seeing Aladdin, or MJ: The Musical. Our students even had some time for a little shopping before leaving NYC!
The Lessons and Carols for Advent and Christmas Service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 featuring exceptional performances by the St. Timothy's Moongates and Handbell choirs.
On November 25, 1901, Bryn Mawr and St. Timothy's School began what is believed to be the longest continuous girls' high school basketball rivalry in the country, with a silver cup dedicated to the game passed between the schools. The tradition continued on Wednesday, November 30, 2023. The St. Timothy's School Varsity Basketball team brought home the victory and the silver cup!

Students from 19 countries call St. Timothy’s home during the academic year, and our students value the global perspective they gain from learning and living with their international peers. The International Festival, held annually during Family Weekend, showcases dances choreographed by students in the tradition of their native countries and performed with the help of their St. Timothy’s friends. The Friday, October 13, 2023, International Festival was a lovely performance, and visitors during Family Weekend thoroughly enjoyed the show!
The Brownie and Spider pride was on display at the Brownie-Spider Fun Run during Family Weekend! Students, parents, and siblings participated in a spirited fun run around campus on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The overcast morning certainly did not overshadow the pride of our participants, and the rain held off for the Brownies to cross the finish line first! It was a fantastic display of St. Timothy's School spirit!
We are off to a fantastic start, with students and faculty settling into the routine of a new academic year and plenty of exciting events happening on campus. On Friday, September 1, class spirit was on full display as each class performed an original song and an original cheer before the annual Boat Regatta, where each class engineered a themed cardboard boat to race in the campus pond.
Welcome to all new and returning members of the St. Timothy’s School community. It was great to see the campus abuzz with excitement this past weekend as we began the academic year with orientation and opening weekend activities, including Convocation.
