St. Timothy’s offers a wealth of opportunities for students to study and practice the arts. Artistic training teaches young women to become better problem solvers and to understand aesthetics, but most importantly, art teaches pure enjoyment — of the creative energy of others, of ourselves, and of life. The arts at St. Timothy’s—including dance, theater, music, and the visual arts—encourage artistic expression, communication, and aesthetic literacy.

Two outstanding facilities are devoted to the arts on campus. The Hannah More Arts Center houses music, theater, and dance. Visual Arts are practiced in the Art Barn, which includes facilities for painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, photography, and design.
