The Lessons and Carols for Advent and Christmas Service was held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 featuring exceptional performances by the St. Timothy's Moongates and Handbell choirs.
The Festival of Lessons and Carols, as most people recognize it today, comes from the 1918 celebration at King's College Chapel, Cambridge. Our service pattern holds tru to the King's College celebration, having nine Lessons and Carols. The service moves through the season of Advent into Christmas.
St. Timothy's School celebrates Lessons and Carols as a way for our choral and instrumental artists to share their talents in this season of peace and light. The Katharine B. Wilson Chapel was filled with the warm and joyous spirit of the holiday season!
