It Offers Academic Breadth and Depth

We know St. Timothy’s graduates do well. Recent figures from the UK’s Higher Education Statistics Agency found that IB graduates were “much more likely to be enrolled at one of the top 20 higher education institutions than entrants holding other qualifications.”

Studying six subjects means students aren’t forced to narrow their choices while still at school and can keep college/university options open. At St. Timothy’s, girls study three subjects at Higher Level and three at Standard Level. Moreover, our second language requirement means that our students achieve at a higher level both in high school and college, a fact that has also been supported in recent studies.
