Varsity Volleyball Loses Exhibition Match

On Wednesday, St. Timothy's traveled to Roland Park Country School for an exhibition match against the Reds of B Conference.
The first set quickly went Roland Park's way due to a number of dig errors by St. Tim's.
St. Tim's seemed to wake up in the second set, actually tying up the match 12-12. Unfortunately for St. Tim's, the Reds were able to serve 4 in a row, followed by 7 in a row to win the set 25-15.
In the third set, St. Tim's gave the Reds a run for their money. Junior Leena Feda served 6 in a row with one ace. Sophomore Ariyanna Crewe served 4 in a row with 2 aces. The score was 23-19 before the Reds took their definitive lead.
St. Tim's lost 3-0. Despite losing three sets in a row, St. Tim's put up a strong defense overall and had some of their best rallies of the season.
St. Timothy's will host the Quarterfinal match of the Playoffs, on Friday, October 18 at 4 PM versus 5th seed Glenelg Country School.
