Two things contribute mightily to the superb college success rate of St. Timothy’s alumnae. One is our curriculum – the International Baccalaureate has a stellar reputation with colleges and universities, and the IB Diploma signals that you’re exactly the kind of student colleges want. The second is our college counseling program.

Your entire St. Timothy’s education is a process of learning more about yourself – what you like, what you don’t, where your strengths lie – and our Director of College Counseling works with you and your family to help you use your growing self-knowledge to create a college list that makes sense for you. With thousands of colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad, this process can seem daunting. We make it both manageable and focused – on your goals, your needs, and your future.

St. Timothy’s offers a variety of resources and special programs to help you get ready for college, such as SAT and ACT preparation courses, assistance with using college-search tools, help filling out applications, practice admissions interviews, and guidance to help you write a strong and persuasive college essay.
