ACT
The ACT is also a college admission test that can be taken in the place of the SAT; all colleges accept the ACT in lieu of the SAT.
Occasionally, students’ scores will be significantly higher on one test or the other; however, students who take both the SAT and the ACT often find that their scores are comparable. The ACT is offered six times a year. To learn more about the test or to register, visit www.actstudent.org (it is important to sign up for the ACT + Writing!) and refer to the recommended local testing centers if transportation by St. Timothy’s is necessary for your daughter. Contact the Director of College Counseling for any questions about where and when transportation can be provided.
