The Hannah More Scholarship

Made possible by the Rich family who were instrumental in the development of Hannah More Academy, the scholarship was created to help Hannah More daughters at St. Timothy’s as well as St. Timothy’s legacies. In recent years, the scope of the scholarship criteria has been expanded to include St. Timothy’s students of the Episcopal faith.
This partial scholarship is awarded to the girl who meets the above criteria and who has demonstrated success both inside and outside of the classroom. There is no separate application required, but applicants should note their connection to an Episcopal church or school in their admissions application.

To be eligible for scholarship consideration, a girl must:
▪ Be a new student applying to St. Timothy’s School
▪ Be Episcopalian or attend an Episcopalian church or school
Chartered in 1832, St. Timothy's School is a private boarding and day school for girls in grades 9 through 12, located in Stevenson, Maryland. St. Timothy's offers the world-renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (DP) for grades 11 and 12, and Middle Years Program (MYP) for grades 9 and 10.
