STT v Key

After a long recovery from an injury, Sophia Looney made a spectacular return to the pitch by scoring STT's first goal unassisted.  Minutes later Stasa Kneselac extended the lead with an assist from Meg Bowen.  Key scored early in the second half, but ultimately their efforts were not sufficient.  Annabelle Davies was indomitable on defense.  Meg Bowen, Cora Martin, Natalia Boumatar and Caroline Salim dominated possesion with artful ball movement.  Goalkeeper Maryann "The Wall" Salim had another amazing performance, finishing the game with 14 saves.  

STT are now 2 - 1 and will face St. Paul's again on Thursday with hopes of seeking redemption from a previous loss.
