Towson, MD - On Thursday, St. Timothy’s (5-2) defeated league rivals Concordia Preparatory School 3-1. St. Tim’s was able to pull out a close victory in the first set 25-23. Concordia fought back and won the second set 26-24. STT rallied in the third set coming back 25-18. Despite a hard fight in the fourth set, STT emerged victorious 28-26. Great play was seen on both sides of the court. STT had a 90% serving average. Senior Kapya Kollin served 18 for 18 and Sophomore Hannah Mays served 19 for 21. Sophomores Melisa Kocak and Hannah Mays led the team with 5 and 4 assists respectively. Freshman Bri Rider had 8 kills and Senior Mia Bryant had 7. Rider also had the team's only block. Defensively, Junior Grace Anderson had 14 receives and 11 digs. St. TIm’s looks forward to their senior night and last home game of the regular season on Tuesday versus Key School at 5:15.
