Spring Fling Horse Show Was A Success

The St. Timothy's Spring Fling horse show was finally blessed with the spectacular weather!  A healthy turnout from the Baltimore community came out in support of our first show of the season.  We saw around 300 entries over the weekend including St. Timothy's students, Bea Harley ('19), Vivian Payne ('21), and Joanne Zhao ('19).
Bea showed her horse Gimlet in the Children's Hunters where she earned second place in all 3 classes.  She also won the BCHSA Junior Medal class which gives her a headstart on qualifying for the year-end finals to be held in October.  Bea also won both Junior Equitation classes for her age group. Vivian showed St. Timothy's When In Rome in the Pre-Children's division where she placed 3rd in each class.  Vivian's highlight was winning the Pre-Children's Medal class. Joanne showed her horse, Cupido K, for the first time.  She competed in the Junior Equitation over fences class and the BCHSA Junior medal.  While she didn't receive a placing, she received valuable experience that will be beneficial in the upcoming weeks at other shows.

The next show that will be hosted by St. Timothy's School is the Summer Kickoff scheduled for May 19 - 20.  Come cheer on the St. Timothy's riders!
