Equestrian Summer Program

Over the summer months, St. Timothy’s offers day and residential equestrian programs. St. Timothy's Summer Riding camps are a great opportunity for riders to have an introductory riding experience or to follow their passion and hone their skills for the upcoming show season.  Our instructors are seasoned professionals with a strong desire to share their knowledge.   • Residential Equestrian Program (Ages 11–14)

    Our Residential Riding Program will allow riders to have a fully immersive St. Timothy's experience.  From staying in our residence halls, sharing meals in the Commons, having activities in many of the beautiful buildings on campus, and enjoying the full scope of our Hamilton-Ireland Riding Center.  Riders will share common space and activities with students in other summer programs as well.  Residential riders can expect to have riding lessons each day, horsemanship and stable management activities, and recreational activities.  In addition, the week will culminate with a horse competition on Saturday.

    • Ages: For children and teens ages 8 to 14 (girls)
    • Days and Times: Monday – Saturday
    • Tuition and Dates:
      Week 5: $1,500 – July 20 to July 25

  • Full-Day Equestrian Program (Ages 8–14)

    Our Day Program will provide extensive hands-on time with the horses as well as professional instruction five days a week. Grouped by experience level, this camp includes grooming, horse physiology, tack education, equestrian crafts, games, yoga, and more. Riders will get to explore the beautiful trails and Redland's Farm.

    • Ages: For children and teens ages 8 to 14 (coed)
    • Days and Times: Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Early drop off and late pick up can be arranged with prior notification.  Students should pack their own lunch and any snacks.  Cold water will be available.
    • Tuition and Dates:
    Week 1: $750 – June 15 to June 19
    Week 2: $750 – June 22 to June 26
    Week 3: $750 – July 6 to July 10
    Week 4: $750 – July 13 to July 17
    Week 6: $750 – July 27 to July 31
    Week 7: $750 – August 3 to August 7
