STT VS. AACS
The Ladies of the STTS JV squad played a great game. The ending score may not have been in our favor, however there were many highlights in this game. Down in the third quarter 6 to 17 AACS way. STTS went on a run scoring 7points back to back to cut the lead to 13 to 17 AACS way. Starting the spark was junior guard Emily Dupervil beating her defender to the basket scoring a layup. Next was Junior guard Jemma Corbin hitting a long range 3-pointer from teammate Gwen VanDoren. Lastly, sophomore guard Gwen VanDoren blew right past her defender scoring a layup. Great way to go into her fourth quarter. Playing great defense forcing the other team to commit a lot of turnovers is what kept us in the game. However, offense is where we struggled. In the fourth quarter we weren't able to score as much because shots were simply just not falling. Game ended with us losing by eleven points. Despite the loss, the team played from start to finish and showed great sportsmanship. In the end thats all we can ask for!
