STT finishes regular season 9-1 by defeating Indian Creek on Senior Day

The Varsity soccer team finished off the season with a win at home against Indian Creek.  STT dominated from the beginning with Mary Salim scoring in the 6th minute of play.  The first half was rounded out by 2 more goals, both by midfielder Meg Bowen.  In the second half, Indian Creek came out a little stronger and scored a goal to keep STT on their toes.  The team quickly answered back by scoring two more goals - one by Salim by a one-on-one with the keeper and the other by Meg Bowen on a PK due to a handball in the box.  Not only did this game mark the last regular season game of the season but it was Senior Day where the rest of the team honored our 6 seniors who have done a lot for the soccer program throughout this season and previous ones.  Thank you to Sophia Looney, Annabelle Davies and Ciara Rook (4 seasons), Drew Palermo (3 seasons), Avy Rohr (2 seasons), and Lauren Streaker (1 season) for your contributions, spirit, hard work, and leadership.  They have all been invaluable members to this team and we will miss them in the seasons to come!
