Health and Wellness at St. Timothy’s School inspires healthy eating, mental health, environmental awareness, fitness, and responsibility for ones own well-being and the well being of the greater STT community. At St. Timothy’s, we guide students as they examine and assess the positive and negative personal risks and consequences they face as young adults. We encourage each student to evaluate her own wellness and set specific goals that will result in self-improvement. We understand that we all have difficulties but embrace that mental health simply means finding a way to handle those difficult times in life. We believe that we grow, learn and are better for our life experiences.
We support a student life curriculum that boasts an innovative series of seminars in which students explore health, decision-making, self-awareness, community living, and success. We emphasize physical activity, nutrition, substance awareness, and personal and sexual health. Our students are empowered to be resilient, manage stress and develop into tomorrow leaders.
